That's a lyric from Edward's song 'Cold Outside' on his Lagniappe EP. We end up singing it a lot around this time of year!
Things are a bit different around here, since Edward is now homeschooling. He misses his teachers, but mostly he misses being in marching band. He's gone to every home game this year, just to see his friends and cheer them on during the field show.
We decided on homeschool to allow Edward to continue his studies while still being able to perform. It's great not to have to worry about him missing important lessons or exams when he's out of town. He does intend to go on to college, and so far, this is working out. Some of his classes will even earn him college credit!
He's concentrating on school, but that hasn't kept us from traveling. In September, he again was asked to perform at a private party, only this time he was able to perform with three of his influences. The finale with all of them on stage, singing together, was a literal dream come true for him, as it was for me.
The website is being overhauled and renovated, and I hope to have it up by the beginning of the year. It will be even more user-friendly: a place where everyone can find news, music, merchandise, and all things Edward.
