We had a later start than anticipated, which meant we were pushing to get to
Houston. As it was, we ended up with a small interview by a LA State trooper (I
swear, the last posted speed limit I saw was 70!) and we got to the friends who
are putting us up, with only an hour before load in. Speedy showers and we
headed for Tuscan Sun Coffee, luckily only minutes from our lodging.
Another great crowd of friends and family (love knowing people all over the
country!) were supportive and very complimentary.
